Single sitting root canal treatment, also known as one-visit root canal therapy, is a procedure where the entire root canal treatment is completed in a single appointment, as opposed to the traditional method which may require multiple visits. This approach offers several advantages including convenience for the patient and potentially reduced discomfort.

During a single sitting root canal treatment, the dentist or endodontist will access the infected or damaged pulp inside the tooth, clean out the infected tissue, disinfect the root canal system, and then fill it with a biocompatible mate
